Even though the e-car battery is relatively small in terms of the amount of energy, it still has a fairly good range of motion.

The reason is the high efficiency of the electric drive. An e-motor can convert up to 95% of the electrical energy into motion, while an internal combustion engine can at best convert up to 30% of the fossil fuel. The rest is lost as heat and friction.

From an energy point of view, also ecologically, the electric car is a great advantage, since less than one third of the energy is needed for the same distance driven.
